Whodunit movies I have seen more than once

Knives out 1 and 2

Knives out 1 and 2 are the movies everyone is aware about. These hugely popular movies give the Agatha Christie-esque vibes, so much so that I had to google whether it is based on any of her books but they are not. Both the movies are multi-starrer with Daniel Craig as the detective following the plot of murder, many suspects – each having a motive stronger than the other. Both the movies have amazing aesthetic vibes, one is shot on the beautiful mansion and the second one is shot at a luxurious villa in Greece. Both the movies keep on giving you one surprise after the other. Available on Netflix to stream.

Murder on the Orient Express

Now this is a movie based on Agatha Christie’s novel of the same name. The movie stars the famous and recurring character of Agatha Christie’s novel Detective Hercule Poirot who gets stranded on a train because of heavy snowfall and the most rude person in the train gets murdered. Now he is tasked with finding out who has done this gruesome crime and what he finds out shocks me till today. The movie is available on Disney Plus to stream.

Murder mystery

Murder mystery is one funny movie. More than the mystery I loved the comedy in it, the bizarre circumstances happening one after the other is what kept me hooked. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler as a couple who just want to have a romantic trip together after a long time of their marriage but it turns out to be more adventurous than they thought. A popcorn worthy movie! It is available on Netflix to stream.

See how they run

In this movie, the murder takes place during the after-party celebration of 100th performance of Agatha Christie’s play – The Mousetrap which is actually running continuously from 1952 till date in St. Martin’s theatre, London. This is one interesting movie which has some real-life inspiration and a fictional character of Agatha Christie as well. By now, you guys must have guessed the contribution of Agatha Christie in the murder mystery stories. You can watch this one for the love of the author. It is available on Disney plus to stream.

Death on the Nile

Again, a who-dunnit movie based on the Agatha Christie’s book of the same name. This also has detective Hercule Poirot at the centre but this time the murder happens on a ship rather than the train. This is also a multi-starrer movie, everyone of them giving a brilliant performance. Movie has a good twist, worth watching at least once. Available on Disney Plus to stream.
